Off-Road C2C

Our unique mountain biking C2C route is a meaty 3-day off-road coast to coast biking holiday based on the infamous Sustrans C2C cycle route from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. This brilliant mountain biking trip takes in all of the best parts of the classic coast to coast cycle route but is a real test of your off-road mountain biking skills and stamina. Along the route you'll be treated to some of the finest views in the Lake District, rarely seen by bikers, before taking on a brutal off-road climb to the top of the North Pennines, almost 800 metres above sea level!

• 3 days of exhilarating biking, from Whitehaven to Tynemouth

• Pick up and drop off in Carlisle or Penrith (alternative transfers can be arranged, an additional cost may apply)

• Total distance - 238 km or 148 miles
• Average daily distance - 79 km or 49 miles
• Bunkhouse or bed and breakfast accommodation (upgrades available)
• Fitness Grading: 4  Technical Grading: Red (trip gradings explained)
• Around 5000 metres of climbing and descending!
