    Summary

South-west Scotland's coast provides an amazing backdrop for a fantastic cycling holiday. Galloway is a forgotten corner of Scotland with miles of deserted road through beautiful, green, rolling countryside, perfect for a cycling tour. Take part in a 4 day cycling holiday through the stunningly rugged forest and coastal scenery, including a brief foray into the largest forest park in Britain, recently designated the UK's first Dark Sky Park.

This is one of the best areas for cycling in Scotland and takes you from the beautiful village of Portpatrick on the west coast, past impressive Abbeys, stunning coastline and the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland. You cycle past two distilleries (or pop in for a sample!) and an impressive viaduct on your ride towards the lovely harbour town of Kirkcudbright.
