    The Reivers coast to coast cycle route opened as part of the National Cycle Network in 1998 and offers more adventurous cyclists a fantastic alternative coast to coast biking holiday to the C2C cycle route between Whitehaven and Tynemouth. Beginning on the North Sea coast, the Reivers cycling route follows miles of traffic-free biking tracks and trails through remote regions of the Northumberland National Park. 

    There are also loads of options to liven up your cycling holiday with diversions onto the fantastic mountain biking trails in Kielder Forest and the 7stanes biking trails at Newcastleton. There is some fantastic scenery as you cycle through the Lake District, Border cuntry and Northumberland on this hidden away gem or a cycle route.
